Dr. Gaurav Raj Bhagat is a distinguished academician, consultant, and education leader, served as Professor at the Barkatullah University Bhopal. With over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and institution-building, Dr. Bhagat has carved a niche for himself in the fields of Political Science, International Relations, and Management Studies.

Dr. Gaurav Raj Bhagat is a Bhopal-based corporate trainer and academic training specialist offering professional development programs for colleges, schools, training institutes and corporate organisations. With extensive experience in GPI training, soft skills enhancement, leadership development and organisational behaviour, Dr. Bhagat has trained thousands of students, teachers, principals and professionals across Madhya Pradesh. 

An alumnus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, he holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, an MBA with dual specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing, and a Ph.D. in Political Science & International Relations from Barkatullah University. He further enriched his academic repertoire through professional certifications, including the Lead Auditor Certification in Quality Management Systems (IRCA-UK) and advanced learning & training at IIT Kharagpur in Business Communication.

Dr. Bhagat’s career reflects a seamless blend of academic and administrative excellence. Beginning in 2000, he has progressed to senior academic roles at BU, while also serving as Dean of Students’ Welfare and contributing extensively to student development, training, and placement activities. His teaching record spans a wide range of subjects—International Politics, Comparative Studies, Research Methodology, Human Resource Systems, Managerial Processes, and Entrepreneurship—all delivered with consistently excellent student evaluations.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Bhagat has been instrumental in institution-building. As Chief Consultant, he established the Swami Vivekananda College of Science & Technology and the Renaissance Divine Public School, successfully steering them through the processes of affiliation, accreditation, and resource mobilization. His consultancy assignments have generated resources worth over ₹18 crores, enabling the development of quality-driven educational institutions in Madhya Pradesh.

A sought-after trainer and speaker, Dr. Bhagat has delivered lectures and conducted workshops for prestigious organizations, including the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, Central Bank Officers Training College, Life Insurance Corporation of India, and several state universities and colleges. His sessions on Negotiation Skills, Leadership, Communication, and Case Study Methodology have benefitted civil service probationers, senior managers, and educators alike.

Dr. Bhagat’s contributions to research and higher education are further marked by his guidance of Ph.D. scholars, publication of scholarly works, and authorship of a book on Communication Skills (published by Ram Prasad & Sons, Agra). His achievements have been recognized nationally with awards such as the Best Management Faculty Award (IIPM, 2011–2013) and the Bharat Shiksha Ratan Award for outstanding contributions to education.

A member of professional bodies including AIMA, ISTE, CSI, and BMA, Dr. Bhagat continues to mentor, innovate, and inspire. His work exemplifies the role of an educator who not only imparts knowledge but also builds institutions, nurtures talent, and bridges academia with industry and governance.

But after continuous teaching for almost two decades and with a deep specialization in law, Dr. Bhagat transitioned into independent legal practice. Today, he is a practicing Advocate at the Madhya Pradesh High Court, heading Intellisol Legal Consultants, Bhopal. His practice spans across High Courts, District & Sessions Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals, RERA, Labour Courts, Consumer Forums, Arbitration Tribunals, NGT, Lokayukta, and Family Courts.

Renowned as a skilled mediator, exceptional negotiator, and persuasive legal strategist, Dr. Bhagat has successfully argued and defended high-stake matters, including arbitration cases under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 across multiple states. He has served as Standing Counsel for leading corporates, defended institutions before regulatory bodies such as AICTE, and represented top banking and infrastructure companies in complex disputes. His legal expertise is widely sought after by national and regional clients, ranging from major financial institutions to reputed industrial groups and educational institutions.
